Replacing a West 6120

The N6120 is now obsolete.
The N6120 was effectively an N6100 with two buttons removed (it only had UP and DOWN, with SCROLL and AUTO/MAN missing). This made it very secured because, apart from possibly changing the setpoint (if the configuration allowed it), all settings had to be made using the N series configuration software & lead.

The N6100 is itself obsolete but can easily be replaced by the equivalent P6100.
The N6120 can also be replaced by the P6100. Though this model does have all four buttons fitted, it can be made secure because it has password codes for Setup & Configuration, and the user can make operator mode “read only” if they want to.

For example, an N6120-Z3100-00 would be replaced by a P6100-3100-000
